The 16 3/4" blade is crafted from 420J2 stainless steel, rather than the original prop’s carbon steel, in order to guarantee that the replica will last a lifetime with little maintenance. This meticulously detailed shield is crafted in fiberglass-reinforced cast resin, similar to the movie prop, and features an Elven vine design on the antique-finished shield face.
