This authentically detailed dagger is a reproduction of the prop featured in The Prince of Persia – “The Sands of Time”, presented by Disney. United Cutlery, industry leader in fine film reproductions, has meticulously recreated the actual filming prop. The blade is cast from solid metal, adorned with runes and gold colored highlights to match the filming prop. The highly decorated hilt parts have been precisely cast of metal and plated with real 18K antique gold. Highlighting the handle is a translucent quartzlike grip that houses the “time-altering” sand, as seen in the film. The pommel features a ruby accented jewel. This officially licensed replica has been authentically "aged" and "battle worn" with a distressed, acid-etched finish to duplicate the original movie item as closely as possible. The 16 3/4" blade is crafted from 420J2 stainless steel, rather than the original prop’s carbon steel, in order to guarantee that the replica will last a lifetime with little maintenance.
