Modeled after knives from the Vietnam War Era, the blade is styled from the knife a MAC/SOG soldier would’ve carried but with modern design technology. At 13 3/4" overall, it’s just the right size for a day pack. It features a 8 3/4" 440A stainless steel blade with a distinct clip point design and a partially serrated edge for sawing needs. The impact resistant handle is constructed from impact resistant TPR (hard-injected molded rubber) for a firm grip. The next stage in karambit design, these tactical kerambits were designed to excel. Each kerambit features a 2 3/16” blade with a large sweeping tip that slashes and stabs with ease. An over-sized finger hole and ergonomic skeletonized handle design allow this tactical knife to be held for striking with either the left or right hand. An easily concealed, injection-molded-nylon belt sheath has been fitted to retain the blade with an exact amount of tension so it can be easily removed from the sheath, but not fall out even in an upside down position. Like the original Japanese tantos, our fighter tantos have a high point in-line with the pivot. A flat grind is applied to the point, leaving it very thick and extraordinarily strong. This thick area helps absorb the impact from piercing, as the tanto was originally designed for armor piercing. The handle features skeletonized cut-outs for weight reduction with one over-sized hole for a secure finger grip. Includes an injection-molded ABS sheath with a stainless steel pocket clip that secures the blade even while upside down. Blade Material: AUS-6 Stainless. Blade Length: 4 3/8".
